PALETTE’S LATEST DINING EXPERIENCE WILL MARRY FOOD AND ART

Palette’s bespoke dining experiences have been cropping up around the city for a couple of years now, and their next is coming this September. The supper clubbers Phoebe Boddy and James Sharp created Palette with the mission of hosting stimulating events that bring food and art together in unexpected and beautiful ways. This time around, the evening is titled Pie in the Sky, meant to signify how fleeting moments of reprieve can be for us, and will feature six courses accompanied by work from some of the city’s most exciting emerging artists.

Michelin-trained chef James Sharp has crafted a menu of the likes of tapioca pearl crackers with spiced pickled plum mixed herb emulsion & red amaranth; torched scallop with compressed watermelon and apple & green tomato salsa; and white chocolate namelaka with macerated strawberries, strawberry powder, lemon balm & rice crispies, and the exhibiting artists will include Marcus Aitken, Phoebe Boddy, Joanna Gilbert, Rebecca Hardaker, Jo Kitchen, Nell Mitchell and Coco Morris. Tickets are £67 and will get you a welcome cocktail, all six courses, access to the group art show and the curated wine list. Plus, they’ll be back the next day with a public bar and DJ to keep the party going.
