PALESTINIAN ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL ‘EXIST’ IS COMING TO LONDON

Founded by Odai Masri (also known as ODDZ) and Bint Mbareh back in 2019, Exist is an electronic music festival raising the profile of the country’s underground scenes. Describing itself as “a growing family of siege-breakers who refuse to let Palestinian artists confront injustice alone”, the festival is also a way for musicians, filmmakers and activists to confront colonialism in Palestine and beyond.

After an inaugural edition in Ramallah, Exist Festival has travelled to cities across the world with events in Amman, Beirut, Athens, Oslo and Berlin. Now, it’s coming to London with three days of dance music dedicated to Odai who sadly passed in June. This summer’s edition of Exist Festival will take place at Cafe OTO and The Yard, with performances, talks and screenings from the likes of Maria Eichberg, Sami El Enany, jaar, Ali Hamdan, Kujo, Drew McDowall, Dirar Kalash, Renata and more. It all kicks off on Fri 8th September and tickets start at £17 for each day of the festival.
