SteveCoogan and Rob Brydon, step aside. This weekend, the team behind Osteria Supper Club will be treating guests to a delicious four course Italian themed culinary journey, with a range of mouth-watering dishes from Tuscany through to the southern regions. Like old fashioned osterias, everyone on the evening will sit together on a long table, sharing tales and good food – and all whilst in the stunning settings of Hackney Farm’s restaurant, Frizzante.
For starters, you’ll be treated to a selection of artisanal cured meats, served on sourdough pugliese focaccia, followed by a tomato-based burrata. Next up, will be homemade orecchiette, with Calabrian chilli and seasoned caciocavallo (a flavoursome cheese produced throughout southern Italy). And if you still have space, to finish up, there will be torta caprese (traditional almond and chocolate cake) served with sheep’s ricotta. This is one supper club that will have you wanting to book your next flights out to bella Italia, before you can say ‘salute’!
