A new Chinese bakery is popping up in Shoreditch this July courtesy of Ong Ong Buns. The biz, which currently makes all-butter Taiwanese pineapple cookies, almond cookies and blackcurrant & loganberry cookies and sells them in packs of 10 and 20 both online and in-store at Tian Tian Market, Choy House and Hekede, is going to have its very own shop (until next February at least). The bakery looks like it’s still being fitted out and there are no firm menu deets yet either, although we’re expecting cocktail buns, sausage buns and other Chinese baked goods alongside the cookies. We’ll be keeping an eye on this one so check back for more…
