Ong Ong Buns, Shoreditch’s Chinese bake specialists, have teamed up with Three Hills Brewing to create a limited-edition Ong Ong-themed beer and a beer pairing pop-up event. On 18th March they’ll be over at Three Hills’ The Outpost in Bermondsey where you’ll have the chance to try Ong Ong’s buns paired with the perfect companion beer. And for the occasion, the team has produced a sour green beer inspired by kuih talam, an Indonesian treat made with coconut milk and sweet green padan. Dubbed Ta-Da Talam, the beer’s main flavours are coconut, pineapple and pandan and will be available on draught on the day. Nurse that St Patrick’s Day hangover with some hair of the dog.
