ollie dabbous to open hide

It was just a couple of weeks ago that we were checking out Ollie Dabbous’ restaurant at the Henrietta Hotel (which we liked very much indeed) and now he’s released a few more details on his next BIG project. Called Hide, it’s set to open in April in a three story building right opposite Green Park – not a bad location then – and each floor will have its own identity.

“Ground” sounds the most relaxed of the three, open for breakfast, afternoon tea and a la carte lunch and dinner plus there’ll also be a bakery selling freshly baked breads and cakes to take away. Things get a bit more serious on the top floor, “Above”, with a tasting menu available for lunch and dinner, whilst “Below” sees Ollie team up with Hedonism Wines to offer what is promised to be London’s biggest wine list. There’ll also be cocktails from long time collaborator and business partner Oskar Kinberg, who also ran the basement Oskar’s Bar at Dabbous.

It all sounds mega and if he can recreate even half the excitement that surrounded Dabbous back in 2012, this will be one of the biggest openings of the year.

Opens April 2018
