Curry puffs are coming to Fitzrovia this December as Old Chang Kee opens a second London site (the chain has over 100 outlets across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia) taking over the spot where Benito’s Hat used to be. The Goodge Street shop, inspired by a traditional Singaporean kopitiam (an old-style Asian coffee shop) will have space for 30, making it larger than the original one in Covent Garden. That means lots more of those signature curry puffs, which come in chicken, beef rendang, potato and chilli crab stick varieties, as well as hawker dishes like laksa, nasi lemak, and curry chicken.
