The Southbank Centre has been celebrating all things Nordic this year and they’re rounding out 2017 in style by creating a Nordic Winter Wonderland. A wintertime market will pitch up outside with chalets full of street food, an alpine lodge from Jimmy Garcia and craft ales from The Hoplocker Bar, and a Finnish sauna will pop-up on the Queen Elizabeth Roof Gardens, so you can get nice and toasty warm whilst overlooking the river. And as well as a host of performances and free events, the ABBA: Super Troupers immersive exhibition opens at the centre in December…get ready to have to have those tunes stuck in your head all winter long.
