If you can’t make it to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, the party is now coming to you as Southern Comfort is throwing an immersive two-day celebration, full of NOLA spirit, right here in London. Leake Street will be transformed into a Mardi Gras street party, with the design coming courtesy of New Orleans-based artist Brandan ‘B Mike’ Odums.
To keep the party going all night there’ll be music from Hackney Colliery Band, who’ll be paying tribute to the NOLA marching band tradition; a special set from club night and DJ collective Pxssy Palace; and a finale set from the Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia. Naturally Southern Comfort will be shaking up the cocktails and Bayou Bar will be on hand to keep you refuelled with a true taste of New Orleans.
Tickets are £12 and include a complimentary cocktail, from a choice of five new Southern Comfort creations debuting at the event.
