The No Trousers Tube Ride is Back for 2024

No booze, no parties, no festive frolics, all around general darkness – January is not a barrel of laughs.

Most of the time that is, because the No Trousers Tube Ride is returning for 2024. It’s the day where Londoners ditch their bottoms and cruise the tube, no questions asked. The annual event began in London in 2009 having been inspired by the No Pants Subway Ride that started over in NYC back in 2002, and it’s become a beloved fixture in the capital’s January calendar.

Hundreds of Londoners go bottomless for this every year and if you want to take part, just head to the meeting point in Chinatown for 2.45pm before heading down to the tube where you’ll de-trouser (so yes make sure you’ve got normal, proper undies on as going commando is a no-no and the whole idea is to look like you’ve simply forgotten to put your trousers on) and then just go about your ride with a straight face. Do you dare to bare?

Sun 7th January 2024, from 2.45pm
