seen the strangest package, the sexiest package, the most expensive package and now for the sweetest Valentine’s Day package. The five-star Royal Horseguards hotel, well known for its themed afternoon teas has launched a Valentine’s Day afternoon tea.

Created by the hotel’s resident pastry chef Joanne Todd and served in the lounge on tables decorated with hearts, confetti, a red rose and candles. The tea features heart shaped champagne truffles and a passion and pineapple jelly with banana cream, vanilla macaroons infused with real red roses, Love Heart candy cupcakes, Sugar Pie honeyed figs with almond biscotti and a
Gooey Dark Chocolate Cake with sugar rose icing.

If that wasn’t sweet enough, the highlight is a chocolate fondue with fresh strawberries for dipping – nothing like a bit of dipping and licking to bring out the romance! The selection of love-struck sweet treats is served with the usual sarnies, scones and a choice of teas.

Priced at £32 per person or £42 with a glass of fizz or a special V Day cocktail. Available until February 19th.
