This year, thanks to the Olympics and the Royal Wedding, London is awash with hotel openings. Which is why it‘s so important for new hotels to offer something different, something that will get them noticed. The latest London hotel which has caught our attention is The Zetter Townhouse, sister to the Zetter hotel and located directly opposite.
We were lucky enough to attend the opening party and boy does it look good. The interiors have been designed by Russell Sage and it reminds us of Alice in Wonderland, full of colours, random objects and quirky trinkets. The Royal bed with the union jack bunting was our favourite room but the whole hotel was equally as special!
What’s more the hotel’s bar is run by Tony Conigliario the man behind the popular 69 Colebrook Row cocktail bar in Islington. Bar food is from Bruno Loubet and afternoon tea is by The Rare Tea Company.
