up people, the trendy swines at the East London institution Bistrotheque have announced their new Kings Cross joint Shrimpy’s will open Thursday 24th May. Located overlooking the Regent’s Canal, Shrimpy’s will offer patrons a collection of dishes harvested from trips to the Americas, especially the Latin parts. Soft Shell Crab Burger, Sweetcorn Chowder, Lomo and Ceviche are just some of the dishes on offer.

Shrimpy’s will be housed in a disused petrol station, the exterior references the modernist gas stations of midcentury California, while the restaurant interior will feature new works by Donald Urquhart and Jonathan Trayte. Shrimpy’s kitchen is open daily from 11am to 10:30pm (11pm Fri & Sat) and if it is anything like it’s older sibling you can expect great things!
