it’s doors today! Located in Barbican in the old Brewery building the hotel features 253 rooms and suites including a WOW suite (Does Mr W know about this??), Wellness centre with spa, Saint Pauls Tavern and Brasserie, King’s Head Gastro Pub and Club Lounge.

The bedrooms are pretty high tech with Wifi (no mention of charges), ipod docking stations and 40 international TV channels. But it’s the Royal Suite that has got us hot under the collar. The suite has a large sitting room, two bedrooms, Jacuzzi bathtubs and its own butler.

We have to say we’re loving the mirrored tiles in the bathrooms. Modern with a dash of bling, we like it!
