Montague on The Gardens is part of the Red Carnation group of hotels – billed as some of the best London hotels. To celebrate the Olympics and the Queen’s Jubilee the group have come up with a “Best of British” set of packages across all of the hotels including a hot air balloon ride, private black cab tour and various special afternoon teas and menus.
Montague on The Gardens benefits from a ‘secret garden’ which during the Winter was turned into a ski lodge and now it’s open for Summer, right up until September 7th. Designed in association with floral designer and fragrance creator Kenneth Turner the space is looking picture perfect with pretty lights, flowers, lanterns, decking and various other decorations.
Each night there will be a BBQ serving all kinds of meats as well as a “Best of British” menu which includes Scotch Eggs, Yorkshire puds filled with Roast Beef and mini Fish & Chips. But the bar is where it’s at with no less than ten Pimms cocktails on offer including one with vodka (aka Turbo Pimms LondOntheInside’s festival drink of choice!)
Afternoon Tea will also be available to take in the garden and features some impressive sweet treats from Wimbledon Tennis Balls to a chocolate Ascot jockey hats and lemon mousse Olympic torches. Priced at £30.
