The Intercontinental Westminster is open! Located in a former government building, it’s the second Intercontinental hotel in London, the first one opened on Park Lane 36 years ago. The hotel is next door to Scotland Yard and a few minutes’ walk from Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament.
The hotel has 256 rooms, 7 meeting rooms and a Blue Boar Smokehouse and Bar which has its own on site smoking ovens – we bet that shows up on a few expenses! There is also a gym, FREE WiFi throughout and a lobby serving afternoon tea. From the look of the Facebook page it certainly looks like the staff have a good sense of humour too!
