iPad 2’s may have sold out in London but there’s one hotel that has already bagged 39. The Eccleston Square Hotel which opens June 19th will have iPad 2’s in every single room. The hotel is the first in Europe and one of the only hotels in the world to offer the iPad2 as a standard part of the in-room tech.
Not only will guests be able to use all of the iPad2’s usual features they will also be able to operate the lights, music, room temp, order room service, make spa appointments and book a Boris bike. The Eccleston Square Hotel will be the most high-tech hotel in the UK when it opens but it’s not just the iPad2s that have us excited we’re also looking forward to trying the “mind spas” which match the TV, lights and music to the movements of the £12,000 Hasten Beds.
