Wanna find the best New Year’s Eve parties in town? Keep reading

Don’t fancy ringing in the new year at a crap house party or ignoring it completely by getting an early night? Are you determined to go out but your mates just can’t decide on where? We’ve solved all your NYE woes and done the dirty work for you. Whether you’re in the mood for dinner and drinks, or something a little stronger, here are the best ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve in London this year.

A huge portion of the city will be by the River watching the Mayor of London’s fireworks and if you’ve managed to get your hands on tickets, you might wanna find a good spot for some pre- or post-event drinks nearby. If you haven’t but you still wanna catch the show, head to Somerset House instead. You can either hit the ice and enjoy a special Skate Lates session, or you get a great view from Setlist’s riverside terrace.

On the other hand, if you want to dodge the chaos of Central London altogether, make a beeline for Forza Wine or Signature Brew, who’ll be putting their own twists on a New Year’s Eve party. Keep browsing for more ways to get 2026 off to a great start.

Aki London

See in the new year with a Japanese feast, cocktails and DJs at Marylebone’s Aki London. The exclusive NYE dinner menu, which you can get as an early sitting (for £115) or a late sitting (at £195), includes uni-scallop chawanmushi, an omakase sashimi selection finished with 50-year soy and caviar, kombu-jime black cod, and Edo-style nigiri. If you don’t want dinner but do want a party, you can get standing tickets for Aki’s bar, with a welcome glass of champagne and canapés, or table tickets, which include half a bottle of champagne and canapés. Live performances, entertainment and DJs will keep the vibes going until the early hours.
