already been talking about Christmas…whatever next, well New Years actually. And BOOM just like that the annual New Year’s Eve fireworks celebrations, organised by the Mayor have been confirmed and with a BANG. That bang being a fee for tickets. That’s right, FREE no more!

The 100,000 will now cost £10 a pop to “guarantee a better visitor experience” apparently.

Tickets go on sale from Friday 26 September at 12 noon. We think we’ll just watch them on the telly….BAH HUMBUG!
