Labyrinth on the Thames, a new multi-day contemporary dance festival is coming to Greenwich
Labyrinth, the indie UK promoter, has revealed the first headliner for its exciting new open-air live music series, Labyrinth on the Thames. On Thurs 31st July and Fri 1st August 2025, the legendary Black Coffee, a Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer from South Africa, will make history as the first-ever DJ to headline at London’s iconic Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These exclusive performances will be Black Coffee’s only London appearance this summer.
A master of blending house, soul, and traditional African rhythms, Black Coffee has become renowned for his genre-defying sound. With a Grammy; collaborations with global superstars like Pharrell Williams, Usher, Diplo, RyX, and David Guetta; and being named the World’s Best DJ of 2024, Black Coffee’s rise from his township roots to international fame is a testament to his innovation and cultural pride.
The performances are set to mark the launch of Labyrinth on the Thames, an ambitious six-day festival celebrating contemporary dance music. The series, which spans the first two weekends of August, will showcase each headliner’s personal vision for the event. On 31st July and 1st August, Black Coffee will take centre stage with his own curated line-up and live production, delivering an unforgettable experience from afternoon to nightfall, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Thames and London’s skyline.
