Some of the freshest and most creative chefs in London will be cooking at The Hoxton, Southwark over the next three months as part of the hotel’s New Kids On The Stove chef residency series. Each one night only event will feature brand new menus from Whyte Rushen, Spasia Dinkovski aka Mystic Borek, and Ixta Belfrage, with matching beers from Camden Town Brewery.
The series kicks off with Whyte Rushen on 19th October with a menu inspired by yeast – you can expect fun dishes like Camden Market (sweet beer glazed kung pao chicken tartlet), Via Shibuya (ale & onion chawanmushi, toasted yeast, puffed barley & corn nut dukkah), We’re Not In Nando’s Anymore (barley miso beer can chicken, yeast emulsion pickled jicama, kohlrabi, yeasted charred flatbreads, stout & chicken gravy) and One For The Road (hop-infused cream with stewed apple, caramel & Hobnobs).
