NEW FEMALE-FOCUSED WINE BAR FINLEY’S HAS OPENED IN HOXTON

The wine bars in London just keep on coming (not that we’re complaining) but Finley’s, founded by Sia Smith and now open in Hoxton, is standing out from the crowd thanks to its focus on products from women-made businesses. All about celebrating the diversity of the local community, Finley’s stocks an ever-changing range of wines from female winemakers, like Little Frances and Vins Et Volailles, as well as beers from Queer Brewing. Sommelier Eleonora Kausinyte (of Maison François and Brat) is in charge of the list so you’re in good hands when it comes to the vino.

You can drink in at Finley’s from Thurs & Fri evenings right through the weekend, when you can also snack on bread from Spence Bakery, olives, cured meats from Marsh Pig Charcuterie, and cheese from La Latteria (and vegan cheese from I Am Nut Ok), but it also runs as a shop from Wednesday afternoons if you’re after some takeaway goodies.
