NATIONAL PARK CITY FESTIVAL 2019

London already plays host to a lot of festivals each year and now a brand new one is joining the calendar. The National Park City Festival, which is part of Sadiq Khan’s mission to have London recognised as the first National Park City, is happening this July and it’s basically a massive celebration of all the green spaces we are lucky to live amongst – London’s 47% green space ya know!

The outdoor River Stage at the National Theatre will act as the festival’s main stage, playing host to a range of free cultural performances, whilst a load of rooftops across the city, including White Collar Factory, Bold Tendencies and Crossrail Place, will open and host their own events. And as the fest is all about getting outside, there’s everything from ancient tree walking tours to wildlife photography competitions to outdoor cinema screenings to open water swimming sessions to get involved in too, so you’ve got no excuse to be staying indoors this summer.
