London is undoubtedly an urban jungle, which has us Londoners running from the tube to the office to the gym to the bar and back again, barely stopping to smell the roses. This changes now, because it’s National Gardening Week; because there are a ton of great garden-related spots in this city; and because summer’s on its way and you’ll need some places to soak up the sunshine.

And yes, some of our fave places also happen to be internationally famous destinations, like Kew Gardens and Columbia Road Flower Market, but they’re not just for tourists, they’re for you too. Plus we’ve got a few gems in there that even long-time Londoners may have missed; places to eat, drink, shop and just spend time in. Whether you’re into beer gardens or bedding plants, gardening is cool, we promise.
