Street is getting into the festive spirit with established favourite The Garrison announcing a series of supperclubs to tantalise the taste buds with winter. Author and Chef Tess Ward will be taking the reins on Tuesday 9th December for a Christmas feast like no other…No pigs in blankets here. Just seriously awesome plates of her favourite recipes from her new book ‘The Naked Diet’

Ward is known for her sustainable, wholesome and colourful dishes which are guaranteed to leave you ready for a rock around the Christmas tree, instead of falling into a food coma. A healthy Christmas you say? What’s indulgent about that? A LOT…smoked mackerel and crème fraiche, Pumpkin toast with smoked garlic butter and pesto dipping oil. Sounds better than an Iceland Prawn Ring right? Venison with Jerusalem artichokes with Brussel chips sounds like the ultimate main to us, and not forgetting dessert…Sticky Christmas Pudding and Ginger Pear Crumble.


Even Scrooge himself would enjoy this…At £40 per ticket, you’ll be greeted with a cocktail by Chase Vodka and feast on three courses and petit fours to finish. There’s also a chance to a super foodie Christmas hamper. As old Ebenezer said ‘I trust Christmas brings to you its traditional mix of good food and violent stomach cramps’…Not here mate…we’re off for a jog!
