Mother’s Day is just around the corner, which means you’re running out of time to pick up that perfect present. St Pancras International may not be the first location that jumps to mind when you think of shopping (normally we only shop in train stations for train snacks) but it should be because it’s way more than just a normal station. And we actually went over there with a £100 St Pancras International gift card to buy our Mother’s Day gifts to prove it.
The stores inside the station include the likes of Jo Malone, Chanel, Fortnum & Mason, Moyses Stevens, Whistles, Godiva, MAC and Calvin Klein, so you’re defo not short of options for mum. It’s also a ridiculously convenient place to shop; it took us about fifteen minutes to pick out and pay for a Chanel nail varnish and lip gloss, a Jo Malone candle AND some Fortnum & Mason tea, so you can easily whip round before catching a train or on your way out of the station. Anything that saves us a trip to Westfield or Oxford Street gets the thumbs up from us.
[easy-image-collage id=103049]If you do have time to spare (aka if your train is delayed) there’s enough inside the station to keep you occupied – obviously we’d head straight for the Searcys Champagne Bar but we’ve always fancied a go on one of those pianos too, except we’d struggle to get past a few notes.
