Morty & Bob’s is heading west this autumn, opening a new sandwich bar in Westfield as part of the shopping centre’s revamp of its food traders (Bleecker Burger and Pizza Pilgrims are also moving in). The classic Morty & Bob’s cheese toasties will be present and correct, as will some of the collab specials that have been featured in the Coal Drops Yard spot.
There’ll be a selection of new sarnies to get stuck into too, including a slow-roasted porchetta sub with slaw, salsa verde gravy drizzle; popcorn shrimp and salad in a brioche roll; a chicken schnitzel sandwich with slaw; and a crispy bacon, smashed avo, scrambled egg, shoestring fries and mushroom ketchup brunch bun. You can make a meal of it with sides like house salad, home-roasted tomato soup and parmesan truffle fries, with both beer and wine available on tap. Yep, your shopping pit-stop is about to get a big upgrade.
