and Morito on Exmouth Market, created by husband and wife team Sam and Samantha Clark, are getting a sister restaurant this spring when a second Morito opens up on Hackney Road. Samantha, along with the current head chef of Moro Marianna Love, will head up the kitchen at the new site. Just like the original Morito, they’ll be serving up tapas, mezze and larger sharing plates, as well as totally new dishes and a breakfast menu including made-to-order Moroccan flatbreads. With signature Morito design elements plus new pottery and plant additions, to reflect its proximity to Columbia Road flower Market, Morito number two is set to become a real neighbourhood fave.
