Momo reopened in 2019 after a massive revamp, including the addition of cocktail bar Kwant led by Erik Lorincz, but Mourad Mazouz wasn’t stopping there as he’s now opened Mo Diner next door. It’s a Mediterranean take on an American diner with retro styling with Moroccan tiles, cacti and palm tree lightboxes.
As diners do this one will serve up an-all day menu with Eric Chavot overseeing the food. For brekkie and brunch you can get the likes of Berber pancakes, eggs benedict, and green fritatta and then from lunch onward you’ve got dishes such as sea bream with sauce vierge, tomato and olives, Duck confit with pomegranate and shallots and Masinissa Caesar Salad with sucrine, chives, anchovies and parmesan. Milkshakes and boozy hard shakes on the drinks menu are a nod to old-school diners. As well as Mo Diner merch available to buy at the Mo Mart, each bill comes with a Mo Lotto scratch card so you could even get your meal on the house too.
