Leake Street, the graffiti capital of London, is getting a Christmas makeover for the fourth year running. This December, the tunnel will be decked out with street food stalls, a mulled wine bar and market stalls featuring the work of local craft traders for a day of seasonal celebrations. That’s not all though, there’ll also be a live cabaret performance by award-winning non-binary artist Pi the Mime, a screening of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, wreath-making workshops run by community gardener Frances Ward and face painting. And to make it even better, the event is free to attend and funds raised by the wreath-making and through donations will go towards supporting the vital work of the Waterloo Foodbank. Sounds like it’s gonna be a great way to get into the spirit.
