MILDREDS TO OPEN NEW SITE IN COVENT GARDEN

Still riding the Veganuary high? You can’t go wrong with vegan institution Mildreds, which is hitting central again with a site due to open in Covent Garden this month. Bringing their 100% plant-based menu to Londoners since 1988, the pioneering joint will be serving up all their classics at the new St Martin’s Lane location including their famous Korean Fried Chick’n Burger and Bhatti Ka Chick’n Kebabs as well as small plates like Haldi Gobi (marsala cauliflower, coriander yoghurt & crispy boondi), Bokkeumbap (kimchi fried rice, clean bean tofu, gochujang sesame sauce & nori) and Kiri Hodi (made with coconut curry leaf sauce, sweet potato, green beans, pea basmati, tomato sambal & coconut cashews).

All of you with a sweet tooth won’t be left out either with the likes of caramel cheesecake with blackberry coulis & caramel popcorn and crème brûlée with forest berry compote & coconut tuille on the dessert menu. The new Mildreds will also be doing brunch on the weekends and will even boast a private dining room if you’ve got something spesh to celebrate.
