Peckham is getting a new pizza spot and it’s coming courtesy of the team behind Frank’s Cafe and the Camberwell Arms. Mike’s, named after chef director Michael Davis, will serve his favourite food (and also one that’s blowing u across London) pizza. But it’s not gonna be the same sourdough pizza we’re used to seeing but rather a ‘London style’ pizza (we don’t actually know what that is yet but it seems like the focus will be on creating the most delicious thing possible, and we’re on board with that).
As well as the as-yet-unknown pizzas, Mike’s will also serve up a small plates menu curated by the Head Chef from the Camberwell Arms, natural wines and local beers, a weekend brunch menu featuring dishes made with pizza dough, and pastries and coffee during the day.
Mike’s is taking over the spot that Forza Win occupied in Copeland Park and will be opening an 80-cover terrace first, followed by a 40-cover indoor dining area once lockdown restrictions have eased again, with pizza also available for delivery and collection. Yeah you’ll defo want a pizz’a this action.
