If you’re over Dry Jan and over the winter weather (we’re with you on both counts) then get down to Mike’s Pool Bar in Shoreditch. Protein Studios is being turned into a poolside bar – don’t worry, it’s a projection of a pool and not a real one, so no cossies required – by Mike’s Hard Sparkling Water. As well as the ‘pool’, the bar will feature a waterfall, SAD lighting, a tropical soundtrack, food from Island Poke and poolside 80s aerobics classes from Frame, so we can all pretend it’s summer and not single-digit temperatures.
The bar is totally FREE to enter, and you get a can of Mike’s on the house too, with the Frame classes costing just a fiver. It may be ‘summer’ but that’s a January bargain.
