MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL AT XU

It’s the Mid-Autumn Festival, a celebration of a new harvest season, and Xu is marking the occasion by collaborating with Lily Vanilli on a limited edition Bakewell Mooncake. Mooncakes are traditionally eaten at this time of year when the moon is at its roundest, symbolising togetherness. Lily Vanilli has also created some brand new dishes for the Mid-Autumn Afternoon Tea, including a Fool’s Gold Chocolate Truffle and Mini Dried Plum Celebration Cake.

As well as the limited edition sweet treats, Xu is launching a special Mid-Autumn cocktail menu featuring Taiwanese tea, like the Cloud Garden (a gin sour made using Xu’s Night-Scented Jasmine Tea, white miso & honey). The restaurant is also expanding its Mister Xu set menu for the festival, adding new dishes taro pancake with burrata and fish floss, and XO butter scarlett prawn with salted black bean, as well as Lily’s Bakewell Mooncake. So if you’ve not been to Xu yet, now’s the perfect chance.
