It’s Mickey Mouse’s 90th anniversary and to celebrate the big birthday, some of the rising stars of the UK art scene are showcasing new Mickey-inspired pieces at a spesh exhibition in Shoreditch. Jimmy C (the man behind the Bowie Brixton mural) and light street artist Michael Bosanko have handpicked the artists, including Ashton Attzs, Jazz Stan and Alexandra Krusberg, as well as contributing their own work to the exhibition. Each artist has taken inspo from different periods of Mickey’s 90 years, covering themes like the magic of Disneyland and the power of children in keeping Mickey popular. The exhibition is totally FREE but you will have to book a slot in advance.
