The team behind London Mezcal Week is opening pop-up mezcal bar Doña in Stokey at the end of the month, just in time for some Day of the Dead celebrations. Taking inspiration from Mexico and Harlem jazz clubs, the bar is decked out with velvet seating, low lighting and lashings of crimson and scarlet, and it’ll host live music every night with a particular focus on female performers.
Obvs mezcal is the name of the game behind the bar and the cocktail list includes the Fiorella (Dangerous Don Mezcal, Virtuous Ginger, Supasawa, Agave, Lime Wheel and Coffee Beans) and the Doña (Dangerous Don Mezcal, Martini Ambrato and Campari), with a tight selection of beers and wine on offer too.
