The long-running Meltdown Festival is returning to the Southbank Centre this year
Meltdown Festival has been curated by the likes of Yoko Ono, David Bowie, Nile Rodgers and Grace Jones, and now Christine and the Queens is taking the reins for 2023. He’s drafted in the likes of Django Django, Yemi Alade, Warpaint, KOKOROKO, Sigur Ros with the London Contemporary Orchestra, Bat For Lashes, Lynks, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Serpentwithfeet and Let’s Eat Grandma, and there are more names still to come.
Christine and the Queens will be performing twice at the festival across its closing weekend, in what is sure to be a theatrical climax to ten days of exceptional music. Tickets go on sale at 10am on 17th March, so snap yours up.
