We’re hosting a matcha masterclass with MATCHADO and Satén Japanese Tea
Wanna meet your match(a) this Valentine’s Day? MATCHADO is the place to do it. The Japanese cafe and retailer is celebrating all things matcha this February by collaborating with Satén Japanese Tea. As well as showcasing Satén’s specialist matcha and tea tools in London for the first time, MATCHADO is also doing matcha workshops with Satén founder and Japanese tea specialist Kazuhiro Koyama.
We’re hosting an intimate, hands-on matcha masterclass at the Acton branch of MATCHADO for our INSIDERS on Sat 14th February, led by Kazuhiro Koyama and MATCHADO founder Hiromi Matsunobu. During the session, you’ll discover how to properly prepare matcha at home by learning the correct whisking techniques, understanding matcha grades, and using quality tools and tea.
Tickets to the masterclass cost £35 and include the full session where you prepare and whisk your own matcha, a guided matcha tasting, MATCHADO sweets to enjoy and a 30 g pouch of top-grade Kyoto Tsujiri ‘SORA’ Matcha to take home. Sounds like the perfect way to kick off V-Day to us.

Cancellations & Refunds
Tickets may be cancelled for a full refund up to 48 hours before the workshop start time. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event or for non-attendance.
