Pulled pork, sticky ribs, juicy burgers and BBQ heaven…what’s all that about…MEAT! Yes the one and only Meatopia is back this summer and it’s another three-day affair, with the over-18s only Friday late shift returning alongside festival Saturday and carnival Sunday. Housed at Tobacco Dock the best meat-based restaurants around take up residency for one big weekend of BBQ smokey, meaty goodness.
From London, the likes of Tom Brown, James Cochran, Nieves Barragan Mohacho, Ramael Scully, David Carter and James Whetlor will all be cooking this year, alongside Roberta Hall-McCarron of The Little Chartroom in Edinburgh, Dave Bone & Anthony Power from Liverpool’s Pilgrim and Sam Evans of Hangfire Smokehouse in Wales. The international chefs flying in for the foodie fest this year include Killian Crowley from Ireland, Mumbai’s Amninder Sandhu, Bryan Furman from Atlanta, Jeffery Claudio and Andrei Soen who are bringing Rosita’s Deluxe from Singapore and Joan Bagur from Barcelona.
