was always going to happen and to be fair it’s no bad thing, the uber popular Meat Liquor has spawned a younger sibling, the MEAT Market which opens tomorrow in Covent Garden. We have to say we’re pretty pleased as it add another non-touristy rip off restaurant to the hunting ground that is Covent Garden.

Like its sister MEAT Market will serve up bad ass burgers, onion rings and fries but what we’re really looking forward to trying is The Ripper – a hot dog wrapped in bacon, deep fried and covered in crispy onions – wham, bam, thank you mam!

There will also be shakes, ice-cream, fried desserts and a take-away counter. Counting the calories? Then avoid this place like the plague!
