Prepare for your feeds to be raining purple because London’s Mayfield Lavender Farm is reopening this June
If you’re looking to up your insta game, Mayfield Lavender Farm is the place thanks to its seriously photogenic rows and rows of lavender – there’s even a red London phone box on site for photo ops. The farm will be open from June to August this year, with late June and July the peak time for those purple blooms. There’s even a cafe on site so you can kick back with a lavender cider and a cake once you’ve gotten all the shots for the ‘gram.
As well as the main farm in Banstead, Mayfield also has a separate gift shop and coffee bar in Epsom (about a ten-minute drive away) where you can pick up a range of lavender products. And brand new for this year at the Epsom site is the Secret Lavender Garden, opening on 21st June. This secret garden offers a much more intimate experience than the main lavender farm as there’ll only be 40 guests for each two-and-a-half session, and you can BYO picnic here too (which you can’t do at the main farm). If you’re looking for a bloomin’ good day out this summer, Mayfield is the place.
