& Taylor is the new bar/drinking den from the people behind The Duke of Wellington in Dalston. Located on uber cool Redchurch Street, on the site of former Mexican joint Green and Red the bar will have a strong focus on English food and wines. Don’t expect any multinational brands such as Fosters, Becks, or Stella, you won’t find them here. But you will find 12 draft beers on tap and 40 bottled beers from the likes of Camden Town Brewery, Kernel Brewery and Sipsmith spirits.

Food will have an emphasis on seasonality, local producers and traceable provenance. Served in smaller dishes, for sharing rather than starters and mains you can expect dishes such as rabbit & crayfish terrine with pea puree & shoots, York ham, poached duck egg & parsley sauce, ginger
beer battered squid with cucumber dipping sauce, pickled ox tongue, blackberries, hazelnuts & rosemary oil. Sounds good to us!
