martini masters of aperitivo

MARTINI is bringing a taste of Turin to London as they team up with Luca in Clerkenwell for an aperitivo menu. Luca Head Chef Robert Chambers and Michelin-starred chef Matteo Baronetto from Del Cambio Turin have created four dishes – veal marinated in chestnut honey with English pickled radishes, tomato tart with salted green peach and gentleman’s relish, lettuce leaf with citrus mayo and dried green olives, and a Scotch olive (green olives encased in rabbit sausage meat, summer savory and chilli) – to pair with Martini cocktails specially created by renowned Italian mixologist Roberta Mariani and Luca’s own Robert Simpson.

You can sip on drinks like the Piedmonte Fizz (with MARTINI Riserva Speciale Ambrato, gin, lemon juice, gomme syrup and absinthe), the San Pietro (with samphire-infused MARTINI Riserva Speciale Ambrato and tomato skin-infused gin), the Pedalare (with MARTINI Riserva Speciale Bitter and grape cider), the Amalfi Spritz (with MARTINI Riserva Speciale Ambrato, limoncello and herb soda), and the classic MARTINI Negroni. Now that’s what we call taking aperitivo hour up a notch.

The menu comes in at £35 and that gets you all four plates plus a Negroni and TWO other cocktails of your choice. It’s not gonna be around forever though so get booking if you want in.
