A bit of New York glam is coming to Soho this month as Martha’s opens its doors on Wardour Street, taking over the space that Jackson + Rye recently vacated.
The bar and restaurant will be decked out with vintage gold chandeliers, brushed silk wallpaper, palm trees and a giant disco ball, with an entertainment programme of jazz, drag and more inspired by the old revues of Soho. Bookings will be taken online for groups of 6 or more but other than that it’s walk-ins only and with it being open from 8am to midnight seven days a week, Martha’s is really looking to cover all the bases.
Food-wise, Martha’s is actually not too dissimilar to Jackson + Rye, with an all-American affair featuring honey truffle fried chicken, shrimp cocktail, oysters, truffle mac & cheese, and steaks, complemented by a classic cocktail menu. Ready to meet Martha?
