With Arcade Food Theatre and KERB Seven Dials you’d think that central would be pretty much sorted in terms of food halls, but you’d be wrong as the largest one in the whole country is opening just off Oxford Street. Market Halls – which already operates sites in Fulham and Victoria – is taking over the old BHS building and turning it into a three-floor, 1000 cover food destination with a roof terrace, four bars and eleven traders.

The line-up includes Gopal’s Corner from Roti King, Breddos’ Super Tacos spinoff, Cook Daily, BaoziInn, Pastaio, Paradise Slice, Hotbox, Flank and Yatai from Omoide’s Angelo Sato, which’ll serve chirashi, maki rolls and katsu sandos, because it’s not a food hall unless you’ve got a sando you can ‘gram.
