Jimmy Garcia is taking over the Southbank this winter with his Lodge on the River. The alpine-inspired pop-up will feature the Refuge Restaurant, which’ll serve up a set menu including fondue, sharing steaks to cook over hot stones, and dark chocolate tart; an informal Chalet Snack Bar with a grab-and-go menu of raclette burgers and schnitzel.
Take a trip to the Alps without leaving Bloomsbury. Yes the Ski Lodge is back at The Montague on the Gardens, complete with log cabin, pine trees, ski racks and snow, so you can indulge in après ski faves like schnapps, mulled wine, hot cocktails and a spread of seasonal food including mini turkey schnitzels and deep fried camembert.
Igloos have made their way ten floors up to the Aviary rooftop. Each igloo is filled with faux fur, hanging foliage and twinkly lights so they’re all super festive.
A snow-covered forest of 300 pine trees is popping up in Broadgate Circle and it’s gonna be very instagrammable indeed. Wood cabins will be selling arts, crafts and hot buttered rum, with the big man himself also set to make an appearance. You can also do a good deed too because the Winter Forest will be raising money for Centrepoint.
