Try Sriracha, Gravy, Pickled Onion and Twiglet Flavoured Ice Cream at this Pop-Up
Just like last year, Anya Hindmarch’s playful spirit will be out in full force this summer with the return of her Ice Cream Project concept store. This ice cream parlour doesn’t do your average scoops; instead the flavours are inspired by Hindmarch’s fave brands, taking products that would typically be found in the pantry and putting them in the freezer instead. That means the likes of Flying Goose Sriracha, Twiglets, Bisto Gravy, Garnier’s Pickled Onion, Maldon Sea Salt and Irn-Bru flavoured ice creams. Yes really. There’s always some safer, sweeter options on offer at the parlour, like Bird’s Custard, Romney’s Kendal Mint Cake, McVitie’s Milk Chocolate Hobnobs, Ovaltine and Rowse Honey, so you don’t have to eat gravy ice cream if you really don’t want to.

At The Greyhound, Alim will be serving a short menu of pizzas, including N’Duja, Pepperoni and Funghi, alongside rotating specials like the Lupita (a pistachio pesto base, courgette, ricotta, lemon zest, crispy coppa and mint oil). There’ll be sides like boneless wings, mozzarella sticks and garlic bread on offer, plus house-made dips for your crusts.

The Red Room inside Bob Bob Ricard has been transformed into Marseille Bob’s, complete with giant pretzels in silver bowls, waiters wearing fez hats and carnations, and drinks inspired by the film. You can sip on a ‘Tycoon on the Rocks’ (a margarita that changes colour, like the poison test featured in the movie) or a ‘Virgin Novitiate’ (made with champagne, Hennessy and a Maraschino cherry), and snack on smoked anchovies with bread and butter. The pop-up is here until 22nd June, and then it’s only a few more months to wait until the Wes Anderson exhibition opens at the Design Museum.
