Vittorio Maschio, former director of ingredient supply business Natoora, is getting into the pizza game with Manifesto, opening on Northcote Road this September. The menu will be seasonal and short, with just six pizzas (like tomato, olive and anchovy, and ricotta, rocket and spicy salami) plus one weekly special, no desserts and just two reds, two whites and one prosecco on the drinks list. And you can bet the produce will be top notch – not only will the dough be proved for 48 hours, toppings will include fior di latte from Puglia, Cantabrian anchovies and charcuterie from the family business Pedrazzoli. With the pizzas starting at just six quid, a meal at Manifesto won’t break the bank either. Get in there between 27th – 31 August before doors officially open for 50% OFF food.
