A Mamma Mia!-themed restaurant is heading back to London. Yes Björn Ulvaeus, former ABBA member and co-composer of Mamma Mia! the musical, brought the immersive experience to town a few years back and now it’s re-opening its doors at the O2. The place is decked out like a Greek taverna and serves up a four-course Greek feast including dips and breads, Greek salad, lamb and chicken souvlaki with crispy potatoes, and orange cake with confit orange & yoghurt.
Obviously it wouldn’t be Mamma Mia! without any ABBA tunes. There’s a whole cast of live performers who play out an entire new storyline for Mamma Mia! The Party interwoven with all the classic songs, and it finishes off with a 1970s disco where you can get involved in the singing and dancing. Gimme gimme gimme!
