Med Pang and Koi Lee have added a fourth restaurant to their group
Med Salleh, which has has one Malaysian restaurant in Bayswater and two Vietnamese ones in Westbourne Grove and Earl’s Court, has just added a fourth branch in Kentish Town. The newest site is Malaysian-focused, like the original, serving a menu of street food inspired by Med’s upbringing in Malaysia, including dishes from his hometown of Kampar as well as flavours from Ipoh and Penang.

- claypot seafood soup lou shu fun
- Penang char kuey teow
- Hainanese chicken rice
- Malaysian stuffed tofu
- Ipoh shredded chicken & prawns hor fun
- nasi lemak beef rendang

The Bayswater branch of Med Salleh has been given the seal of approval from critics like Tom Parker Bowles and Jay Rayner, so the Kentish Town branch should also go down a treat. And that’s not the only Malaysian spot to have on your radar as Padi, which has locations in Singapore and NYC, is coming to town soon too.
